Following six days of intensive training, the second Olivet Leadership Institute (OLI) Leadership Training session of 2024 concluded on May 30, 2024 with the exhortation for all trainees to exert all their focus on keeping the main thing the main thing of their daily mission, which is to proclaim the Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ irrespective of their circumstances.
During the Closing Service, while meditating on the message from Acts 28:23-31, which was entitled, ‘Proclaim the Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ with All Boldness and Without Hindrance’, the trainees were encouraged not to be sidetracked by their personal weaknesses or challenges that may appear to hinder their Gospel work, but persist in carrying out the Great Commission by continuing the footsteps of apostles in saving souls for the Lord.
Examining the determination of Apostle Paul to reach Rome and desire to testify about Jesus Christ to his own people, the Jews despite repeated rejections, the trainees were exhorted to persist in their efforts to open wider the history of missions with all boldness, because there will for sure be the prepared people of God to receive the Gospel, as nothing can stop the history of the Gospel with God being in control and having the power to overturn the evil into good.
Over the course of the intensive training, the trainees examined Acts and Galatians in greater detail, while participating in various workshops and mentoring sessions that serve to anchor their faith to inherit the precious history of Gospel spearheaded by the faith and persistence of the Early Church.
It is with great hope that as the trainees were being greatly impacted by their participation in this Leadership Training, their hearts will be greatly ignited to proclaim the Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ boldly and without hindrance, toward saving as many as possible.
