Myitkyina Church Shares the Joy & Hope of Christmas with Refugees in Kachin State

On December 23, 2024, with the spirit of the Christmas season, the members of Myitkyina Gratia Church reached out to refugees displaced by the ongoing conflict in the Kachin State in Myanmar.

Driven by the message of the Prince of Peace, the members shared the love and hope of Christ with those affected by civil war, encouraging them to embrace peace in their hearts.

The outreach effort included sharing the Gospel, leading time of prayer, and providing comfort to the refugees, many of whom have experienced great suffering in recent months. The members emphasized the true meaning of Christmas which is God’s gift of peace and reconciliation through His Son, Jesus Christ.

This initiative reflects the church’s mission to bring healing and hope to those in need, demonstrating the light of Christ even in the midst of challenging circumstances. The refugees expressed gratitude for the care and support, finding encouragement in the message of peace that surpasses understanding.

Myitkyina Gratia Church continues to pray for lasting peace not only in Kachin State and also the whole country of Myanmar to stand committed to serving those impacted by the ongoing conflict with the love of Christ.
