Manila Church Welcomes Five New Comers on Sunday Service

Manila Immanuel Church meditated the word from Hebrews 2:11 which titled ” We are the same family” and welcomes new five comers.

The passage goes, “Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So, Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters”.

Pastor Chris said that ” As we walk in this path of faith, we will encounter many lost souls out of nowhere. Some in the street and some may be near us. The moment they accepted the truth about Jesus Christ and the promise of our Father God, we are the same family. Like Jesus walk on this earth and not ashamed to call us brother and sister for we are in the same family. If you are sitting in the chair and listening, It’s not a coincidence; God purposely made you where you are. It does not work of us but the work of God. The moment that we believed and saved by grace through our faith, we are again a family, we are placed in one body and clothed in His righteousness”.

Pastor Chris continued emphasizing 1 John 4:20. “Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen”

“We sometimes only love God but hate the persons around us. It’s not what God wants, for us to continue our purpose, we need to both observe the whole meaning of love. Love is one of God’s eternal attributes which John explained. It’s fruitless if we professed about the love of God through our lips, but we exercise hatred towards our brothers.”

After the service, the new attendees shared what they have learned in the sermon. One sister Cristina shared, “Due lockdown, I honestly was affected as my spirit started to fade. It’s a blessing for me again to hear this precious message. Now, I hope that I will continue to learn and be guided in this family of faith.”

Another brother Marvin shared, ” Today is a new beginning me, and my friends will start to know more about Jesus, I’m a little shy but in time I can share more about how it is with this kind of family. I thank God because He’s good all the time”.

The service ended with a beautiful table fellowship with everyone sharing the good message. Everyone is looking at how to exercise more the love of God.
