The Healing Hands Medical Mission Team, which regularly conducts mission under Saint Luke Society, carried out a mission and volunteer schedule in the Philippines from February 15-17, 2025. The mission site, Pandi City in Bulacan, is a globally recognized slum area registered with the United Nations.
In collaboration with JWMC, the medical mission team provided medical benefits that included internal medicine, dentistry, traditional Korean medicine, and a pharmacy, to over 400 Filipino residents over the course of the first two days.
On the final day, the team visited a local elementary school, where they conducted educational volunteer work, head lice removal, and meal provision. The team also visited several homes and carried out flooring work to improve living conditions.
Saint Luke Society has conducted medical missions in the Philippines six times in total, with this being the third mission specifically in Pandi City.
